“It’s a slow moving, dreamy slice of psych, these razor sharp guitar lines cutting away at the fuggy nature of it all, while in the background acoustic instruments pop and prod at the sauntering rhythm, while synth lines weave their way around Trevor’s vocal lines, which lay lazily over the top. Lovely stuff.”

"Gigantic Waves, I'm Not Here" is a 40 minute film set to the sound track of their new album of the same name. The band takes their gauzy, abstract music and sets it to a series of Zen-like images. The effect is that as you follow along the film, studying the drifting images, you may begin to look inward as much as you follow the screen. In a way, the film is a audio-viual rorschach test. Frankly, it's a daring feat and it's surprising to see such an amorphous project work so effectively.”

”With a genre that has been described as “psychedelic, folk, improvisational,” “Tut’s Lazy Burial” embraces all three adjectives in a dreamy, fluid tune with haunting lyrics. Equators have a sound that reminds one of the Shins, but with less of a pop edge.”
